Jeff Werkheiser

Minister

Jeff moved to Lancaster in 1989, fresh out of college. After working with the Teens for several years, he became the full-time Preacher in January 1997. The members of this congregation have become family. “It’s been a blessing to observe what God has been doing in this congregation over the course of the last 30 years. I’m especially excited about our growing ethnic and generational diversity. I can’t even imagine where He will take us from here, as we continue to get more serious about becoming and making disciples of Jesus.”

Jeff enjoys visiting his kids in Nashville, TN (Nate) and Phoenix, AZ (Hannah). He spends much of his down time watching classic movies, reading history and spy novels, and trying to get his house organized.

Issac Rifa Sr.

Associate Minister – Spanish Ministry

Issac is a native of Cuba and moved to the United States in 2016. Since 1996 Issac has been serving the church whether in Cuba, West Palm Beach Florida, or Pennsylvania. He was brought on as a minister in 2017 to meet the needs of our growing Spanish membership.

He and his wife, Maria Elena Faxas, have been married for 30 years and have two grown children. His son Issac Jr. translates the message at our 11am service every Sunday.

Ryan Brandon

Associate Minister – Youth & Family

Ryan and his wife, Emily, moved to Lancaster in 2014 from Tennessee and began working with the CV Youth Ministry as volunteers shortly thereafter. He began serving full-time as the Associate Minister for Youth & Family in 2023. Ryan’s favorite youth group activity is the Blue Mountain Retreat held each fall. He also enjoys leading worship in our Sunday services.

Ryan and Emily have two sons, Samuel and Silas. Outside of church, you might find him out on a run or a bike ride, watching a Formula 1 race with his boys, or doing yard work.
